Salut la compagnie !
Fut un temps (en 2021) j’avais un compte Instagram pour poster mes photos (POV.Scotis, d’où le titre de l’article). Ce fut fun, mais la plateforme n’était pas pour moi, alors au bout de quelques mois, j’ai arrêté d’y poster.
Deux ans plus tard, je me suis dit que ce serait bien d’archiver tout ça sur mon blog et d’en profiter pour partager les photos que je n’ai jamais publiées.

I just love to be able to walk in Chateauvillain and see the river running … You can see it going to some garden ! It’s just a really peaceful thing to have.
Eddy is pretty laid-back when I work. He just enjoy to sleep beside me. It make him the perfect coworker for me ! And sometime, he want some attention so he roll on his back and he’s just too cute to ignore !
La Suize was a really cool thing to have on my morning run. As much as I am happy to not live anymore at Chaumont, I think I will miss the ability to run in the forest just behind my apartment. Since last week I’m now in a much nicer home, so maybe I just need some time to find another path to run. Who know ?
I really enjoy to see the fluffy belly of Calypso. And it’s always nice to see my kitty at ease when they sleep, so I appreciate all weird and cute positions ! I hope everyone has something nice to kick-start the weekend !

Life always find a way … And travelers make path where they want ! It’s a funny spot on the path near my old apartment, I needed to cross it to go to the Suize.
Hush. Eddy is sleeping … It’s a lazy Sunday for us all in the house. As much as I love organising my new home, I love to take break. Eddy is always a good reminder for that.

It’s an old photo, but still a wonderful and funny encounter. Back in my old appartment, I was running in the forest near. Everyday I was hearing (or some good day seeing !) deer and one day, there was a cow in liberty ! Chaumont is weird, in a good way.
Some sun, a comfy human (and bed) and Calypso is a happy cat ! And I love to read or play with her, so we’re both happy !

It’s June ! New month, new goals ! I hope to finish one of my novel, in my big goals of the month. What are yours ?
Now that all my workdesk is in place … it’s time to paint again ! Here is a WIP of a rat portrait, done on Photoshop. (I can do commission, if anyone want one for themselves)

It’s friday and the sun is here ! It’s a good day and I feel so energetic <3.
There was a storm this night, and we had a lightning just on the church next to us … It was really loud and white ahah. So now, we bask in the shy sun in peace.
We’re still installing ourself in our new home, but already we have some decoration that I really enjoy. Here is the old radio that my grandfather gave me when I was ten. It’s still working !
Eddy think there is some mice in the attick … And maybe he’s not wrong. But it’s funny to see him look up from time to time in a concentrated way.
Sometime the back of buildings is as much interesting as the front. It’s fun to explore !

So this month I wanted to write a lot for a novel of mine who was in pause since six month. I can happily announce that I have written 50k this month ! On a single project yes ! I still have a lot of work on this novel, but I’m really happy ! And on the photo is my writing nook. I love it even if it’s still in waiting of some furniture ahah. And the two kitties love it too.

New month ! New challenge for me because I feel like having another one. Last month I was working on a leasure goal and it went really well. This month I feel inspired to go for a work related goal. So I will work on my webstore, mainly to make new art for it but also to work on the design. Wish me luck ! And what are your goal(s) for this month ? Tell me I’m curious ^^.
There’s something in the summer coming after spring. Nature is always changing, it’s really mesmerising to observe the change.
It’s blep-day ! Or really, everyday is a blep day for Calypso. I love her.
I have started a new tank, it’s my first since praticly 10years so I’m really excited about it. It will be a snail tank for some blue Ramshorn (and maybe some shrimp), but I already have some freshwater snail in it and I’m really happy about it. I really love snails ! But for now, it’s cycling so I’m waiting (and watching).

It’s always a good idea to have some tea, and I just love this mug I have done. There’s ponies on it ! And they make an heart. I think it’s cute. This mug is on my redbubble shop, if you like it too ^^.

On the road to Marmesse, there’s a ton of animal to observe !
Because we had other priorities, we still have all our books on the floor in the bedroom, and still not bookcase in view. I think it make Calypso a little angsty.
So last night we went to bed with the window open. This morning birds where chirping, like birds do each morning, but there was one who was just LOUD. So I grumble and arouse myself to close the window and … that’s not that little birdie was loud, it’s just that he was chilling INSIDE OUR ROOM. So my husband was like » well, he’s not afraid, I need to get up » And little birdie was » hey, don’t really care, do your life, I’ll do mine » So husband wanted to be the princess of the day and pet the little birdie. He did. (and will sadly not share this particular photo, because hubby is not decent in it, so it’s for me to keep and you to imagine)

I don’t know if it’s known outside of France, but shaddock are celebrities here and it’s really cool to find a statue of them at Marmesse !

Last month goal was a disaster ahah. It was not a productive month, but a creative one with a lot of painting. And no work on my webstore. Well I can’t meet my goal each month xD. I’m not sure I will set goals for me this month, I need to work on some yearly maintenance in my house though and I wish to do a lot of littles thing here and there, so maybe the goal will be along the line of » making a better home for us » ? We will see. And you, what is your goal for this new month ?
Eddy has a new cover for his bed on my desk. He’s really happy about it because he don’t really like the texture of his bed beneath the cover. Now he can enjoy the bed all he want !
I just love the fact that we have so many cow around our village <3. I love them all.

Sometime, working from home mean taking my laptop and hang with Calypso. I love to be able to do that, and the fact that it’s a rare occasion make it so much sweeter.
When you play some music that Eddy don’t like … He judge my taste. (no, Eddy don’t enjoy Cadillac, don’t know why)
I can’t put my finger on WHAT exactly is different in Picardie than in the Haute-marne where I live, but the landscape is different and hit different feeling in me. Because I grew up in Picardie, there’s a nostalgia in experimenting this part of France that just get me each time. Like this photo … We have wheat field in Haute-marne, we have bocage (that’s the french name of alternates of small irregular-shaped fields separated by hedges and ditches with forests), but for a reason it’s different ?
Calypso love to play … But not when the toy is in the air. She prefer to chase things on the ground. Eddy has no sur qualm. The difference between the two is funny.

Sometime when I work, I just move things around so I have more place. And a lot of time, Eddy is not disturbed at all.
This succulent is still stretching to have access to more sun. I love to see her « move ». (And I need to buy a lamp for my plants I think, I can’t move them closer the the windows and they don’t have enough sun =/).

Haute-marne is pretty flat. But sometime, there’s a little big hill, and it’s a little less flat.
I love the fact that each time I’m doing a scratching box, the cats use it also as a bed. Calypso even take her toy in it. Boxes and cats. A long history of love.
It’s the great return of Coeur Vaillant (Valiant Heart in french) ! He was a character of mine on a RPG forum, and after some redesign, I’m returning in the game !

Eddy is a handsome little black kitty. I love him (as much as I love Calypso).
Sometime they want to play, but also keep their bed as base. So they run between the toy and one bed. I don’t understand the rules but it’s always fun to play and I try to give each the same attention with the toys.
Calypso has a special love for window. Bright sunny window in particular.
I’m still doing some charadesign for the forum. Here’s a zebra for a change ! It was really long to paint with all the feather and stripe, but really worth it. I think this drawing is gorgeous.

Septembre
Hello september ! August was so much better than july ! I’ve finished to redone my webstore, I have painted a lot and the kittens are doing better (they had some health issue since three month, I was not talking about it because I prefer to focus on the good with my social media). And we’ve finished all the maintenance issue with the house (it was not inhabited since some years, so we had some upgrade or maintenance to do), so now it’s time to work on building some furniture and making my workroom more usable and beautiful ! I’m excited to show you my woodworking ! My goals for september ? Work on new item for my webstore, mainly and build some furniture for my workroom (I don’t show you, but I have a stack of cardboard in a corner of the room ahah). And you, what are your goal for this new month ?
And now come a painting of another unicorn ! I’m still having fun designing them.
Sun is good. Having the sun in the eyes ? Not so good.
Some freshwater snails love <3. Since the last time I showed you my tank, I have now introduced some Ramshorn. My bladder snails are still doing good. I have some green algae, but the tank is doing great. I love to observe it and all my snails <3.

It was in my sketchbook for like one year and I’m happy to finally having painting this portrait ! It’s a little more violent that what I’m painting normally, but sometime I enjoy to step out of my comfort zone. And it’s a good way to evacuate frustration too I think.

A little late hello to october ! September was a fine month, a little busy at the end, but really good. I’ve worked on my goals, not finished my furniture for my workroom but I’m getting there and I’ve drawn a lot. I had worked a lot to organize all the drawers of the workroom also, so now I can finnaly do some watercolors again ! I really love this house. I feel like the best dwobbit and I’m really happy and content, it’s a good, but weird sentiment <3. The goals for october are multiples, but I will try to focus on writing article for my blog, finishing the furniture for the workroom and rework a little my workflow to better suit the new workroom (I'm still using some old workflow from when I was living in an apparment with a lot of my work-stuff in separate room). Theyre were only one radiator in the house, so the bed had become the best spot in the house to lounge with the kittens ! I find it really funny to think that I’ve bought blue ramshorn and … of the 20, I only have two that are blue, all the others are pink. I like pink, but I only wanted blue ramshorn … But I like all my snails, so it’s fine !

I love mug. And I’ve noticed recently that I can do magic mug ! They’re black at first, but if you fill them with a hot beverage (like some hot cocoa, hot milk or just your tea or coffee) it become really colorfull !
